If you are technology agnostic, excited about helping LEGO transition to the cloud, and your dream work situation includes autonomy and trying out your strengths, read on.

Join our journey into the cloud

We have an open position in Corporate IT Core Infrastructure in Billund, Denmark, and we are looking for talent to help us transition to the cloud and run our global on-premise data centers. As an infrastructure engineer in our team, you have influence over your tasks and can pursue your personal interests. We expect you to grapple with a broad range of technologies and issues, but we provide you with the artistic freedom to decide how to best make a difference for the LEGO Group. Your tasks may include:

  • Manage, monitor and automate different technologies like Cisco and HP networks, VMware and PowerVM virtualization, Windows, Linux, and AIX OS, HP, IBM and Dell server/storage, AWS and Azure/O365 cloud technologies

  • Establish a hybrid IT infrastructure and deliver backend support as IT subject matter expert across the whole IT infrastructure stack

  • Migrate business critical workloads to AWS, establish cloud network management, and rewire our work processes for hybrid and cloud-only IT infrastructures

  • Implement automation and increased security, standardisation and optimized capacity management, life cycle management and monitoring of servers

  • Design and implement secure and autoconfigured large-scale network solutions on LEGOs global locations, such as the factories in Mexico, Czech Republic, China and Hungary, and the new 50.000 m2 headquarter in Billund.

Join an international, creative community

Joining Corporate IT Core Infrastructure, you become part of a worldwide LEGO® community, where creativity, care and collaboration shape the way we work. Teamwork is key for us, and you will get to work with experienced colleagues locally as well as internationally. We have fun taking responsibility, and we are proud of our focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Innovative IT professional with drive

You are a genuine innovator, and the idea of giving our IT infrastructure a massive overhaul makes your innovator heart beat faster and your head overflow with creative ideas. We need you to bring passion, stamina and true commitment to driving the digital agenda:

  • You are persistent and can demonstrate results.

  • You have a passion for your trait, for trying out new solutions and technologies and for solving real life problems with robust, scalable solutions.

  • You cannot be bothered with routine work (you automate the task instead) and you are not locked to any given technology or area.

  • You are a bit anti-authoritarian and you are comfortable with finding a way to solve a task without consulting authorities.

  • You have a relevant IT degree, preferably a master of science in computer science or master of science in engineering

Bringing it to life

"This is an exciting position with access to the latest technologies and great potential for professional development. Exciting new ventures await us in the cloud, and you will get to let your inner designer loose as you help us on that journey," says Senior Manager Erik Fischer Krogh.

Join the global LEGO® family

In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment. We look forward to receiving your application. Please remember to attach your cover letter and a current CV in English.
