Do you have the ability to take a vision and translate it into innovative ecommerce solution? Are you a proactive self-starter and have the ability to get things done?

If this sounds like you, then this could be the perfect job. You will be responsible for architecting and documenting technical solutions and roadmaps across the platform.

Your specific tasks include:

  • Transform business requirements into appropriately documented technical solutions that are aligned with relevant competency areas and adhere to architectural principles, operating standards and non-functional requirements.

  • Describe and consult with other technical leaders on the pros and cons of various solution design and implementation options, ensuring tradeoffs are clear and appropriate decisions are made and documented in detail.

  • Ensures that best practices in design and usability are incorporated in to all solutions in conjunction with the solution leadership team

  • Work in an advisory, advocacy and consultative capacity to help the team innovate, improve productivity and quality of their respective process and system

  • Be an advocate to help shape the team culture within the LEGO brand framework and establish a winning attitude across the group that is comfortable with innovation and calculated risk taking

This fast-paced role will need a self-starter who has the ability to work with a range of internal customers to create innovative design solutions. With excellent stakeholder management, you will play a key role in working with both internal and external teams to deliver successful integration, development and enhancement plans within a complex technical landscape.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Extensive architecture or technical team lead experience on significant enterprise and ecommerce systems ideally within a fast-paced retail environment

  • Demonstrated experience of the design and implementation of decoupled ecommerce systems inclusive of solution design for enterprise commerce systems (e.g. Oracle Commerce)

  • The ability to design user-facing solutions based on modern JavaScript frameworks - experience with the React framework is a substantial bonus

  • Prior experience of the design and implementation of solutions to integrate with major enterprise and third-party software vendors (e.g. SAP, Adobe)

  • Knowledge of good practice around usability, maintainability and accessibility

  • Experience of working in a continuous delivery team building improvements, new features and capability in an agile model

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well in a highly collaborative, team-based environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
