The purpose of this role is to keep the Planet Promise that we have in LEGO, by ensuring the best waste management in the Factory.

The purpose of this role is to focus on procedures to manage all kind of waste in the Factory:

  • Continues improvement to waste reduction and handling, in accordance with LEGO Planet Promise, by supervising the processes, data collection and analysis. Bring solutions and drive projects.

As a leader on this role you will:

  • Develop and implement plans to improve efficiency and reduce amounts, in the handling of waste

  • Support the internal and external audits regarding waste management, and collaborate with company safety organization in the setting and follow-up of related action plans.

  • Secure the recycling and waste separation program in the production floor and administrate spaces through the coordination with external service, audits and feedback from internal customer.

Analyze information and resolve

  • Solve with suppliers any issue related with contract non-compliance.

  • Solve conflicts with suppliers regarding employee complaints

  • Tendering processes related with outsourced services, and look for suppliers that meet the expectations and LOM policy

  • Define the scope of the contracts, looking for long lasting benefit and competitive edges.

  • Engineering related to environment.

  • Negotiation with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills. problem solving skills.

  • Ability to retain high volume of rapidly changing direction, data, strategies and consistently link to direction and strategies.

  • Must be able to multitask with minimal supervision, end to end business knowledge a plus.

  • Experience in different kind of waste handling, laws and government regulations.
