Then take this opportunity to collaborate with leading designers and other digital experts on a project that goes across our entire portfolio and will make a difference to millions of children.

Do core innovation

In the role as senior UI/UX designer, you join a newly established team that explore and direct new digital experiences from the heart of the LEGO Design organisation. We work with the LEGO brand and core innovation at an interesting point in time where we are exploring the digital build and physical play experience. To succeed, we collaborate broadly with our design community as well as other digital delivery teams - and so you will need a broad skill set to:

  • Work as part of a small but expert team, partnering broadly with teams across the full value chain

  • Work from concept and ideation through to prototyping and delivery

  • Deliver visual design that reflects the very essence of our LEGO brand

  • Deliver awesome user experiences for the next generation of digital building experiences

  • Create detailed wireframes, user flows, mock-ups and other product deliverables

  • Translate insights into prototype visuals for digital experiences through to visual guidelines for briefing and guiding other delivery teams

  • Prototype new product features and help adapt them for implementation

  • Stay very open-minded and prepared to respond and adapt your ideas following direct user testing with kids as well as drawing on insights and ideas from colleagues

Play is our favourite way of learning

Joining us in Billund, Denmark, you will get to play with and use your digital expertise to develop our legacy, collaborating with a diverse range of professional partners who care deeply about the LEGO brand. As you do so, we will trust you to get things done to the highest possible quality while delivering awesome creative solutions that can inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.

Digital design experience, curiosity and communication skills

To succeed in this role, you are a mix of a UI and UX professional who is ready to enter a deep dialogue on how to develop new digital building experiences for children. This takes great communications skills - but it also takes curiosity, so you can ask the right questions and connect technology with user needs and our business. Finally, you are collaborative by nature as you will be working across the LEGO Group with all the specialists and experts, who are already in place. Your qualification:

  • You hold 5+ years of experience with digital design

  • You are an expert user of the Adobe Design Suite applications and a super user of PowerPoint

  • You have experience with digital prototyping tools, e.g. InVision, Axure, Principle or similar

  • You have a full understanding of graphical user interface principles including iconography, colour theory, interaction principals and interface animation techniques

  • You have knowledge of gamification interaction

  • You communicate effortlessly in English
