Cutting-edge visual design and direction

You join the Design + UX group within our in-house LEGO Agency. We are responsible for guidance and design for global LEGO® projects, apps and websites. You will be working in an agile full-feature team, where you will work and sit side-by-side with developers and fellow designers to deliver amazing digital experiences for kids. Specifically, our project portfolio includes, LEGO Life, LEGO TV, and LEGO Ideas. These platforms vary from set-top box products, to apps, to websites. You will have varying responsibilities including:

  • Visual design and user interface work and visual direction within digital product teams

  • Direct internal client contact, presenting work and feedback

  • Working with app/web developers to see projects to execution

  • Prototyping feature ideas for both clients and testing with kids

  • Participating directly in user tests and seeing kids react to your work

  • Designing UI elements and patterns that may be leveraged across our digital products

  • Creation of icons, visuals, style as well as working with wireframes and process diagrams of user flow.

  • Motion design for both prototyping and execution within apps and experience.

Can you create incredible digital experiences?

It is essential that you have a flexible approach and are comfortable with lean ux and agile processes. And, you are ready to work in a collaborative environment, where clients have a high degree of input. This is an opportunity to develop innovative, eye-catching digital products that increase brand awareness and increase engagement for the LEGO brand. To thrive in this role, you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience working with web/digital design - maybe from a design agency, or perhaps you are an accomplished freelancer ready to join an easy-going group of digital creatives

  • Have strong skills from concept to execution of ideas and the ability to create great digital experiences using constraints to your advantage

  • Not afraid to “push pixels” in a high-speed delivery environment

  • Have a blend of UX and UI skills and a proven track record.

  • Are skilled at working with clients, and self-organized

  • Either have experience designing digital products for kids, or you cannot wait to get started

  • Speak and write English effortlessly
