As the Head of Ecommerce channel, we are looking for someone who can help us stay ahead of the curve in the fast-moving ecommerce space. Are you an innovative individual who can help us think outside our normal processes to achieve success in this area? Sound like you then apply today!
Your specific tasks include:
Driver of UK/Ireland e-commerce strategy, define strategy, tactics and capabilities needed to stay cutting edge within e-commerce
Help shape up global strategies and make sure UK voice is inputted with the Global Ecommerce team
Lead the team to deliver commercial results through ambitious joint business plans and brilliant execution of LEGO brand and trading plans with the biggest ecommerce accounts
Build/maintain winning retailer partnerships and drive the LEGO Customer Value Proposition
Identify and unlock commercial opportunities through new approaches and test & learn mindset
Establishment of high performing e-commerce team. Build team with a strong shared agenda and a clear definition of what great looks.
Building individuals with right capabilities and strong individual development plans
Member of the Sales Leadership Team and key contributor in defining sales strategies with a significantly stronger e-commerce footprint than today
Design and roll out e-commerce capability building program for the entire BU e.g. basis understanding for the wider BU team and detailed competency building with account teams to enable execution of e-commerce with all capable retailers
Challenges and Opportunities
Every role at LEGO has its own unique set of challenges and this role is no different. The ability to stay ahead of the curve in a very fast-moving ecommerce space will be key in this role and finding ways to drive innovation outdate established LEGO process. E-commerce is high on the corporate agenda and this is a unique opportunity to play a central role in step changing our approach and drive a growth agenda. Being a new area for the LEGO UK/I BU this offers an opportunity for someone to come in and change our approach and drive growth in this area. Therefore, this role would suit an individual with a more flexible and agile mindset to drive cutting edge ecommerce solutions.
Do you have what it takes?
Extensive commercial experience of managing major multiple accounts, with expertise in e-commerce
Proven success in leading and developing a team
High level of understanding of the e-commerce channel and it's key players
Has a strong and current expertise in leading growth agenda with key e-commerce operations
Good knowledge of current best practices and ways of operating effectively with major customers
Very effective at building strong internal networks and able to operate with a wide range of people from different parts of the organisation
Relevant experience of operating and developing networks with senior level contacts
An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
